Junior Golf Programs

Junior3How do I get my child started in Golf?   It's never too early (or late) to introduce children to golf. If guided properly, they will enjoy the game for the rest of their lives. Start them as early as you want. If you are going to the driving range, take them with you. If you are playing a round, let them tag along. Include discussions about basic rules and etiquette. These have a greater impact on their game than you know.

Custom Club Fitting

Custom Club Fitting

fitting1What is custom fitting and do I need it?  A custom fit set of clubs is specially measured and produced to fit a persons individual swing. Custom fitting helps ensure consistency from club to club which contributes to better shot results. If you are about to purchase a new set of clubs, insist on getting a club fitting by a professional. If you plan on keeping your existing set for a while, consult your golf professional to see if a custom fit would benefit you.

Video Lessons

Video Swing Lessons

video1How can video swing lessons help my game?  Video is a teaching tool that allows the student to see what they are doing right or wrong. The swing can be viewed in slow motion or full speed and frame by frame or side by side for comparison. Most people are visual learners, making this tool an invaluable assett to improving the golf swing.

Robert Heck Golf - Professional Golf Instruction

About Me...

I have achieved many things throughout my life. I have served in the Marine Corps, climbed the corporate ladder, owned my own businesses and raised a family...to name a few. Whatever direction my life turned, there was one constant passion that followed...golf!

I have spent my life studying the golf swing in order to improve my own game and have decided to pass along that knowledge to others. I have been a Professional golf Instructor at The Creek at Qualchan golf course since 2006 and have had the opportunity to help countless numbers of players improve their level of play and overall enjoyment of the game.

Good fortune has again smiled on me as I have accepted the position of Director of Golf and Instruction for the The First Tee of the Inland Northwest chapter. It will be my absolute pleasure helping the young people in our area learn life lessons, core values, and the game of golf! To Learn more about The First Tee, please visit www.thefirstteeinlandnw.org .

I hope you enjoy this site and find it useful. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or suggestions you might have, but most importantly...get out and enjoy the game!
